Pinks and Stripes

Everything Jaclyn Davis does is pure gold. Here are some pre-bridals she shot of my adorable bride. The color palette included shades of pinks with accents of golds. I used peonies, garden roses, sweet peas, fillipendula, and peiris buds. Feast your eyes!

Gorgeousness Part Deux

As promised, here is another bundle of stunning images by Jaclyn Davis Photography. These images literally make my heart skip a beat. I love how crisp and American our models look.  I love the striped tan and cream ribbon on the bouquet, I love the hairpiece, I absolutely adore the horse, and I love the romantic bench.  This is the epitome of beautiful.

French Countryside Romance

It has arrived! My beautiful photoshoot with the amazingly talented Jaclyn Davis is here.  We used a delicious color palette of creams, greens, tans and taupes, with slight hints of lavender and red. The flowers were a melody of vibernum, filipendula, garden roses, lysimachia, clematis, jasmine vine, and dogwood foliage. Thank you to the lovely Paige and her husband Chris for being our talented models; they own the Nayborhood, the best skate shop in Idaho Falls. Feast your eyes on the gorgeousness of that evening!

More to follow tomorrow!

Congratulations

Here is a sneak of my bride Shelby by Jaclyn Davis Photography, Shelby is getting married today! Congratulations to her and her new husband. I adored her color combo, all shades of pink with accents of gold. It was such a rich color palette and it gave me so many new ideas. If you want the most bang for your buck, go with shades of a color with a nice neutral to accent. I can’t wait to see more from this cute girls’ session!

Gorgeous

I have so many different things to feature, four weddings, one surprise birthday party, and this styled shoot! Here is a sneak peak of the shoot I did with Jaclyn Davis Photography, I can’t wait to show you the rest. I will say though that we got a tan horse with blonde hair! Thank you to Jaclyn Davis for this gorgeous image.

Love Notes

My sweet bride’s mother sent me this lovely email this week. It made me really remember why I love designing with the medium of flowers and renewed and invigorated my passion for floral design. Thank you!

Gorgeous French Themed Wedding by Lemon Blossom Designs

Hello! I know I have been missing for a while, but the wait was worth it! I received the images from this wedding from Jaclyn Davis a couple of days ago and can’t wait to share it with you! Whitney and Adam both lived in France for a while and she wanted to incorporate that same easy-going, free spirit, simple elegance vibe into their wedding. Wa-la! We did just that. I used lavender with pale pink David Austin garden roses, blackberry bramble, seeded eucalyptus, cafe au lait dinnerplate dahlias, and various herbs such as rosemary and mint. We also accented by using crab apples and peaches. My personal favorite of the whole affair was the garland over the fence. It introduced the guests to the whole theme of the wedding and was enchanting to walk under. I seriously didn’t want to leave! The best part of the weekend was when the sweet bride dubbed me her “little wedding elf”! I will gladly be called that any day!
